A lifelong Bay Stater, Jay Higgins enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school, serving as a Security Forces Airman. After his Honorable discharge, Jay attended and graduated from both Framingham State and Harvard University.

Jay has spent the last decade as the Outreach Manager and Senior Caseworker for Congresswoman Katherine Clark (MA-5), helping countless members of his community cut through government red tape to access their earned Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid benefits.

Jay is running to bring that same hands-on, constituent-first approach to Beacon Hill. From affordable child care to a functioning MBTA, Jay will be a strong voice for families that need relief from the the runaway cost of living hikes folks are experiencing all over the state.

Jay currently lives in Malden with his wife, Kate, and her beloved guide dog, Dodger.
